Starting counselling is an empowering step. I see one of my tasks as helping you to feel at ease, providing you with an intentional space set aside to have a feel of how you're doing and where you're heading in your life.
I've worked with people who have experienced various difficulties, including:
- Anxiety, panic attacks and unease
- Low self-esteem and self-doubt
- Feeling stuck, sense of no direction
- Feeling the impact of another's addiction
- Relationship issues
- Sexuality and sexual identity (LGBTQ+)
- Depression
- Recovering from past wounds
- Grief and loss
I offer both brief and open-ended counselling depending on what might support you best right now. I suggest 6 sessions to start with to give you an idea of what working with me might be like and see whether you feel as though you wish to end or continue.
Brief counselling
(6 sessions to 14 sessions) Creatively facilitating your way through a particular difficulty you're experiencing.

Open-ended counselling
Supporting you to look at your life in a broader context. This kind of engagement with oneself through counselling often leads to an understanding of the habitual ways in which you respond to life and gradually encourages you to try out new ways of being and more fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others.
